How to make chocolate truffles!!:)

Hey guys, today I wanted to show you how I make chocolate truffles! lets gooo;)

Equipment:
glass bowl
pan
A spoon
A tray and grease proof paper

Ingredients:
1 or 2 bars of chocolate
fruits, nuts etc. (only if you want to though, I made plain ones today but its entirely up to you)
2 tablespoons of milk
cocoa power for dusting (optional)

Method:
1. First you want to break up your chocolate, use 1 and a half bars then leave the other half (we'll be using this later)

2.Make a double boiler (you can do this by putting a pan of boiling water under a bowl this helps to melt something properly and doesn't scorch it but make sure the water doesn't touch the bowl or it will burn the contents inside the bowl)  and start to melt the chocolate like this...

3. Wait until the chocolate is melted and is smooth and then add some milk in. Keep mixing until the chocolate goes clumpy, add more milk if needed, the chocolate should look like this...

4. Now you have to quickly roll the chocolate in balls (or your preferred shape) before the mixture goes to hard to work with. This step is pretty simple but just remember to work fast!

5. Melt the rest of your chocolate (the half you saved earlier) and roll the truffles in this, you can cover it in something else if you want like cocoa powder. Only sprinkle a little cocoa powder on otherwise you will get a horrible bitter taste in your mouth (yuck). Alternatively you can mix it with icing sugar to sweeten up!:)

6. That's it really, just place on grease proof paper to harden up then your done!!:)

I hoped you enjoyed this recipe:) Annia -x-
